Three new international schools open for the 2026 intake
Two in Bangkok and one in Phuket have been added to the ISAT register.
Places are open for the August 2026 intake. Fees for the new campuses sit in the mid tier, between 400,000 and 700,000 THB per year.

No changes to DTV requirements this month
Immigration has published no amendments to the Destination Thailand Visa financial or document requirements.
The 500,000 THB financial evidence requirement and the five-year multiple-entry structure remain unchanged. We re-check this page monthly.

90-day reporting stays online
Online 90-day reporting remains available and is the fastest route for most people.
Reports can be filed from 15 days before to 7 days after the due date. Offices still accept in-person and postal filings.

BTS fares increase from 16 June
Single-journey BTS fares rise across the Sukhumvit and Silom lines.
Fares increase by 1-2 THB per trip on most journeys. The 30-day pass price is unchanged, so commuters travelling daily are largely unaffected.

Tax residency threshold unchanged at 180 days
The Revenue Department has confirmed the 180-day rule for the 2026 tax year.
Foreign-sourced income remitted to Thailand in the year it is earned remains assessable for tax residents.
